Guidelines
Recommended eDPI Range for Apex Legends
Apex Legends rewards controlled tracking and micro-adjustments over flick speed. The recommended eDPI ranges below are derived from aggregated pro data and community benchmarks across ranked play.
Competitive / Ranked
eDPI 14–26. This is the sweet spot used by 73% of tracked pro players. At 800 DPI, this translates to an in-game sensitivity of 0.018–0.032. Ideal for precise hip-fire tracking and tap-strafing.
Aggressive / Entry
eDPI 26–38. Slightly higher sensitivity for players who prioritize quick turns and close-range engagements. Common among hit-scan mains like Wraith and Bloodhound entry fraggers.
Low Sens / Precision
eDPI 8–14. Used by players who rely on large mousepads and arm-aiming. Offers maximum micro-adjustment control for long-range R-99 and flatline tracking. Requires 400+ DPI to avoid in-game quantization.
Apex Legends uses a non-linear sensitivity curve at higher in-game values. Sensitivities above 0.040 in-game feel noticeably faster than the linear math suggests, which is why most pros cap below 0.032.
